Fartown has the best shop in local area
I can't comment for most of the stores but the one on fartown is brilliant always stocked up always busy.
The family run it well and standards are always high
The deals are always on and displayed clearly on leaflet and decor,
Honestly think it's best little shop in area which I use my main shop staff are welcoming always make sure bits I need are in often telling me when certain products are back stocked.
Way to expensive
Way to expensive.
£1.75 for 2 Litres of milk!
They always seem to charge full price…
They always seem to charge full price for offer items at the til, even out of date items on offer, despite clear offer tickets on the shelves, takes ages to sort out if you raise it, happens far too often, always thought it was the staff.

Very disappointing
I've recently had the misfortune to use the branch in Lybster, Caithness, which was a terrible experience.
The shop was cramped, outrageously expensive and the stock consisted almost exclusively of unhealthy junk food, with most of the shelves taken up with sweets, crisps and other processed foods.
The only concession to healthy eating was a plastic hopper containing four lemons, half a dozen lacklustre apples and a solitary onion.
In addition to that, some of the meat looked very suspect, especially the ham.
Not a shop I'm likely to visit again.
Can totally understand why the vast…
Can totally understand why the vast majority of ratings here are poor or bad. The Premier Store at Happyhillock Road Dundee is a prime example of totally bad service. The staff are uncivil, offhand, judgemental and speak to customers as if they are lowlife. I always go to ASDA round the corner now after the very poor customer service at this branch of Premier. I always try to support local shops but am not giving my custom to this rude bunch. Prices at ASDA much cheaper, better products and the staff are always chatty. Some Premier stores are good but some like the one I mention are DREADFUL.
Our local premier shop think they have…
Our local premier shop think they have a right to refuse alcohol if you have purchased 4 beers and return for 4 more later in the day or night they are extremely judge mental even when you haven't bought alcohol and go to buy it this makes me feel the need to go to day to day our other local shop or tesco on whittles Road which are both 5 minutes walk witch results in loss of custom to corner shop the lady's or old witches that run the premier cause loss to your shop I'm leaving this review in hopes you have a word with Galloway avenue premier shop staff
Should get zero stars
Should get zero stars, one star far too generous.
I ask, what is the point of a business being a UPS collection point if they are not going to accept UPS deliveries on behalf of customers that want deliveries redirected to another address?
Utterly incompetent.

Would be much better if we could leave zero stars.
Only interested in making money, nothing wrong with that, but this shop couldn't be bothered helping me out when I really needed to sort my electricity meter top up key out!
I'd just moved in to the area that evening and the electricity supplier told me the key could be activated there at M P premier store, before it worked.
I went round to the shop and they said they didn't do that, I double checked with my supplier and they said they can do it, but probably could not be bothered as they had reports about that store before doing this!
That night I had no electricity on due to that, I went the next morning and the local post office did it straight away and said they had heard about the m p premier doing that often as they like you to spend lots of money before activating the key before they help you...... well I won't be spending ever in there as I will never go in their store again due to this.
Disgraceful
Saw them selling Monsters (energy drink) to what looked to be 9 year olds and disgraceful customer service. Got 4 items there for what looked to be a reasonable price but then they (£4.25) costed me almost £1 extra (£5.04) literally saw them charge me extra by clicking an extra time not even being discreet. Avoid this store it's not worth it especially considering this one has a £2 minimum spending limit which is extremely annoying.

Community shop? They just don't care about the area.
Our local premier store shop has a good variety and long opening hours. This is where anything positive ends. The outside of the store always looks a mess and an embarrasment to the area. There is always a mass of litter blowing around which I am constantly clearing up whilst it blows down the street, the bins are often full and overflowing. The council owned grass verges are destroyed and a mud bath due to customers continually driving over them and not using the entrance to the parking area. The shop sells energy drinks and other unsuitable items to children who just discard their bottles, crisp packets and other litter on the ground. They state it's a community shop but they don't give a damn really.
Stay clear from Premier shops
I have booked to drop off a parcel to a Premier shop to send a parcel, however the shop keeper refused to accept my parcel because it's too big 54x54x53cm, and said even the Evri driver won't take it!! what a waist of time & fuel, I was very disappointed, and I have explained to the shop keeper that your shop is listed and offered to me to drop off my parcel to you but he refused to accept it. I have told him that you should inform Evri to remove you from their website he said he already did told them but evri doesn't listen. I only make 20p per parcel, yours is too large it's not worth it. To try to contact Evri on the spot is impossible, the help tab takes you to an automated chat, which of course doesn't deal with this kind of problems. I am really upset about the service and I won't use it nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Disappointed visit to premier store tighnabruich
Minimal card payment in place
This is a disgrace since government are trying to encourage contactless payments to reduce risk of covid 19 spread in use of coin/ money
Very disappointing visit
I like my local store
I like my local store. But generally I don't use Premier Shops as much as I once years ago back used to. But they're really useful local community shops. Great for where you just need urgent items you've run out of. Or forgotten in your main shop in town. Prices for basic lines in their savers supplied wholesalers wrappings are generally very good value still. I'm going to try to use my local store around the corner from me a lot more this year. For basic lines, and bulky to carry lines perhaps like cat litter etc.
I'm not a smoker these days nor much of a drinker, and scarcely read printed mainstream news media papers nowadays. So much in the store isn't attractive to me in way of the regular offers. Staff always very friendly and helpful in my local East Grinstead branch. Chirag General Stores, Quarry Rise.
